Barakat is described as a "leader" by , & according to , is a PFLP Cent Cmte member & head of Foreign Operations Dept. Also Int'l Coordinator for campaign to free imprisoned PFLP-head Ahmad Saadat. Khatib is a PFLP member & Samidoun's Europe coordinator.
