3/ U.S. officials told Grisélida and Julio to go to a well-known shelter in Juárez but when they got there the shelter was full — and they were on their own. They wandered around until they found a hotel that would cost them $4 a night to share a twin mattress on the floor.

2/ Grisélida and Julio were sent from El Paso, Texas back to Juárez, Mexico on Sunday because of the U.S. “Remain In Mexico” policy. Since April, more than 8,000 migrants have also been sent from El Paso to Juárez to wait there until immigration courts hear their asylum claims.
