I asked what he had to lose. Yet he still refrained so as not to be punished further.
But it’s his honest feeling, just the same.

Judges have now left the room to come to a decision.
Worst case - the judge invokes a mechanism that wipes out time already served and finds him serving more.
Best case - I look around this expensive charade and cannot bring myself to find one.
