12 June #ByElections2019 in KZN & NCape, ANC retained 1 seat & IFP won 1 seat. New ANC councillor is John Gaolatlhwe Diphahe in Ward 7 Sol Plaatje Muni (92.90% of votes, 47.65% turnout); & Sifiso Nkosinathi Vilanai in Ward 6 Mtubatuba Muni (44.55% of votes,50.41% turnout).

All temporary staff are paid for training & election days in a single sum. As stated in your contract, we are obliged to deduct tax from all staff payments, incl stipends. If you would like us to verify number of days paid for, please email your details to [email protected].

No, payment should take place within 30 days of volunteering as an election official. If you've not been paid as yet, we would suggest that you contact the local IEC office that hired you to make sure that your contract and bank account details are in order. Tx for checking.
