reasons i'm excited for this class, compared to 2016: • twice as long as my previous class at ITP • amazing new tools: + + • GANs output 1000x more pixels • WaveNet, Densepose, YOLO, etc... even pix2pix wasn't around yet during my first class

Status update on AVX: We recently began a rolling upgrade across the cloud and have since completed P4000s and V100s. Our primary goal is to avoid downtime/disruption. The tradeoff is that the upgrade process takes time but it will be complete within a few weeks.

Our Windows VM streaming tech (especially when used with our native app), is quite a bit faster than Linux VMs. Other than that, the rest of the service is the same behind the scenes. Hope that helps!
