By "lucky" I mean they're in the nightmare hellscape scenario of doom - but ultimately they will survive. Not every org would in that situation. Try taking global IT out of most companies and see what happens.

I should also point out few manufacturing businesses could sustain that shock:
- Norsk Hydro are VERY RICH. They have very high high profit margin. Most manufacturers don’t.
- They aren’t yet big into automation so could go manual production. Many manufacturers couldn’t.

My understanding from their investor relations is they're still restoring systems, some BU's got stuck in manual production. But I think they're making good progress. In a year's time they should have a much, much better IT setup, as they've rebuilt AD from scratch.
