That's all from us, , for tonight! We hope that you will continue to share Mariam, Agnes and Mary's stories of detention. Indefinite immigration detention is an issue that must not go under the radar while attention is on Brexit!

We are terrified for our lives, because if we are sent back to China we will be killed. We want to be released so that we can finally be safe.

Yarl’s Wood is a horrible place. People are so depressed here that they stop eating or try to kill themselves.

But I am not the only unlucky one in Yarl’s Wood, many of the other women have stories like this and they need help.

The people who brought me here made me have sex with a lot of men for money. Often they would beat me up until my whole body was covered with bruises.

In my own case, a family member became ill and owed a lot of money. Because of this big debt, I was sold to the UK.

There are a lot of Chinese women here in Yarl’s Wood. Many of these women were orphaned back in China or had many problems with abusive family members who gambled money away.

Now I have a new fight to find a job, but I hope I will find something useful to do. & I am still volunteering for , which I have done for 5yrs. Because what has kept me going is the support I have from other women, & which I want to give back to other women.

In August last year, I got my refugee status after nearly 8 years. During that time I was not allowed to work. I could not go to college. I had to report to the Home Office once a week.

The second thing is not to make people destitute. I meet a lot of young women who are put in very dangerous situations because they have no home and no money. Allow us to work, because we have a lot of skills.

We need to build a fairer asylum process for women, and the first step is to end detention.
