The key to this legislation is that the sanctions must be civil not criminal. Otherwise the @RTBinfo will be tied up in the courts & fines for landlords in breach of rent review rules will not be effective. jrnl.ie/4377177

Interesting Govt gave @EOBroin free run @eolas #HousingIreland. No Govt spokesperson, & interesting both Eoin and Fintan agree that smaller landlords are needed. @NESC Rory also seems to agree. He seems to be encouraging smaller builders but we need more active land management
