Protests across the country this week have targeted Palantir. There's more on Friday in the Bay Area: If you can, join these protests. Tell tech workers that they have a responsibility not to build tools that violate human rights.

Separation of black and brown families through raids, deportation and incarceration in any form brings toxic levels of stress to our communities. Our folx are resilient, though we can’t deny the emotional, mental, and material impact raids and detention have.

A9: OUTRAGE, FEAR & TRAUMA. The looming threat of raids means parents are afraid to drop their kids off at school, kids are afraid to come home to missing parents, and the communities where we live, work, and raise our families don’t feel safe.

Along with 's complicity with ICE, the local impact on migrant communities is forced displacement. AMZ will open its HQ2 in Northern VA, and community members are already seeing higher rent + are concerned about being pushed out of their neighborhoods.

We don't need ICE to be reformed. We need it gone. We don't need deportations to be better managed thru "family-friendly" prisons. We need our people FREE. is the long-term goal and until then, by cutting off their tech support.

Abolish ICE mvmt recognizes that an inhumane agency like ICE can't be reformed. We must hold tech giants like Amazon accountable for enabling ICE’s surveillance+data mining of black+brown communities, separation of families, and their imprisonment+deportation.

A6-2: Incarceration/detention has been the long standing tool used within white supremacy to dehumanize & destabilize communities of color—particularly Black communities. We are targeted, profiled & disproportionately penalized/sentenced.

ICE is a rogue agency whose sole purpose is to terrorize undocumented immigrants. But it can’t operate on its own. By saying with tech companies like , and forcing them to choose a side, we all take an active part in abolishing ICE.

As we see with Fort Sill—which imprisoned Indigenous peoples and Japanese immigrants before becoming a detention camp for immigrant children today—once there is a framework for incarceration, it will be reused & repurposed to inflict further harm.
