Senators Heidi Heitkamp, Joe Donnelly, and Claire McCaskill stood up to Trump and voted NO on Kavanaugh. They took tough votes because they knew it was the right thing to do. Let's show them we stand with them. Chip in here:

why ex-allies are so mad at ⁦⁩: “As I look back, I’m convinced coded racial appeals had at least as much to do w/success of modern GOP as policy proposals. it’s what liberals have been saying for decades. I never believed them. Now I do”

No idea what happened with Nikki Haley sudden resignation, but no admin says “hey, here’s a brainstorm! Let’s have one of our biggest Administration stars suddenly resign just 28 days before a rough election.” There is a story here, we just don’t know it... yet.

As Kavanaugh re-takes oath at White House this evening, worth noting that Sotomayor and Kagan didn't take oaths at White House. Obama wanted it that way as a symbol of their independence, administration officials said at the time.

POTUS apologizes to Kavanaugh and his family. Who apologizes to Dr. Ford and her family?

Just finished this tour de force. And what struck me, apart from the fraud & tax evasion, was how these two men, father and son, at every turn shirked their responsibility for paying their rightful share of taxes that support schools & roads & soldiers. Zero tradition of service.

At the White House swearing-in, Trump obscenely made the occasion a purely partisan one with his ludicrous claim that Justice Kavanaugh had been “proven innocent” and his misogynistic apology for the Senate’s even having listened to Dr. Blasey Ford.

speech was largely political: praised the Republicans (and Manchin) who pushed for him, his old friends, the DC “tight knit Catholic community, touted his regular guyness, with only a brief closing vow that he is not bitter, will be impartial and will seek unity.

The President* is calling Dr. Ford, who had nothing to gain by sharing the details of the worst moment of her life and who has already being hounded out of her home by death threats, “evil.” He comes dangerously close to inciting violence quite regularly.

Trump lies, claims "before I took office less than two years ago, our nation was experiencing a historic surge in violent crime." (Violent crime has been steadily declining for more than two decades.)
