"I believe that as Americans, we should be more worried about this measure. If you're an American businessman and at the airport for transit in HK, if your enemy in china wants to drum up charges against you, they can ask HK police to arrest you. It affects everyone." Gabriel Law

This trade is reminiscent of the deal that brought Kareem to the Lakers. AD can have that same kind of impact. Showtime!

Great trade! So tired of Lakers losing and not being in the playoffs. They were on the brink of being irrelevant but reversed that with one big trade. Here come playoffs, championship and printing money again!

"Lakers now only have one guard on the roster who has a guaranteed contract next year. Not getting anyone [to replace Lonzo] isn't an option. Kemba and Kyrie would be great, not sure if [Lakers] can make $ work. Maybe they take a pay cut to play w/ LeBron & AD."

"The Lakers can't wait for young players to develop because LeBron isn't getting any younger. And while LeBron will still be great as he gets older, there is likely only a short window left on his career."

"It's really boom or bust. If this works out, the Lakers won't miss out on the draft picks they traded. But the Steve Nash-Dwight Howard trade was the last time they gave up this much, and they never got what they wanted out of that trade -- a championship."

"I think daily press briefings are critical to a functioning government. Public policies are complex issues. Briefings allow admins to speak w/ one voice. It allows you to get policy ides out concisely. It also lets off steam if you have a crisis situation." Sean Walsh

"I'm wondering whether we have come to a generational shift, that maybe those press briefings and maybe that indirect communication that WH has with American public has changed. Maybe it's specific to Trump, but maybe is indicative of bigger change."

On impending departure of Sarah Huckabee Sanders: "I've done press briefings. It's one of the hardest jobs to do. You basically get beaten up for an hour or two going through every policy issue in the world. I would say SHS had an almost impossible job." Sean Walsh

"Fragmented doesn't mean...where people cant' get along and that they don't have overarching goals they support. It means there are different constituencies in party that support different candidates, and that could be along racial or policy lines." Sean Walsh

"Political junkies like me and Sean will be glued to TV. Most folks aren't, they've got other stuff going on. But they'll be hearing about debates through social media, conversations, podcasts. I think the notion of everyone sitting around TV to watch is gone." (1/2)
