Good overview of today’s rollback by , with my comments. Market forces alone won’t deliver the emission reductions we need. Policy is required. For more on carbon tax analysis referenced in the story, follow & check out

: Do you think it’s possible for the next president to stop climate change?Yes, but only if the next president absorbs a lot of carbon..I am a greater carbon sink than my opponents. You would have to put me in the middle of the ocean, but I am confident it can be done

Lessons learned the hard way: Don’t let doctors blow off important symptoms as “subjective.” If they bite your head off if you dare question their conclusions, run the other way. Also, is real and serious, but if you get that label you are screwed if it’s wrong.

After 1.5 years of unrelenting pain and fatigue, today I finally got a diagnosis: Polymyalgia Rheumatica. Very treatable! It should not have been this hard to get the right diagnosis. I had a 3 incompetent rheumatologists before a good one. Looking forward to my new life!!

Go, , go: "A revenue-neutral carbon tax is one such solution. A market-centered carbon tax would place a price on the amount of carbon emitted by producers, while cutting taxes and onerous regulations elsewhere to keep the tax burden neutral."

Here's a bit of good news: U.S. coal consumption last year was lower than in any year since 1978. Don't expect that to change GOP plans to tout how the president has "saved" coal mining jobs since coming into office.
