I found your blog a few weeks ago and I can’t get enough!! Thank you for all your awesome pics. I’ve already learned soo much!!!
Very well done! Do you have any fav sewing books/dvds that you especially
recommend worth having in a sewing library?
There are lots of great ones out there, it all really depends on what type of book you are looking for 🙂 My very very favorites in the whole bunch are Fit for Real People & Pants for Real People (fitting), The Colette Sewing Handbook (for basic fitting, techniques, and following patterns), Draping: The Complete Course (if you want to learn how to drape!), The Complete Photo Guide to Clothing Construction (step by step photo tutorials on sewing techniques) and Sewing with an Overlock (serger-focused) & Claire Shaeffer’s Fabric Sewing Guide (this is pretty specific, but it’s a wonderful resource to keep on hand if you need to know more about sewing with a certain fabric). Those are books I find that I use over and over 🙂 Hope this helps!
