Mark your calendar for this great opportunity to view all kinds of art work and the studios where it was created.
This is my second time to participate in this great neighborhood event in Asheville, North Carolina. I join 14 other artists who will be opening up their homes or studios to display, sell and talk about their art. We are all part of the Kenilworth Artists Association.
Come and support your local artisans!

This year at my address – 17 Buckingham Court, two neighbors will join me. There will be a yard full of art- jewelry, pottery and my own mixedmedia and paintings!
For more information on each artist check out this link: Kenilworth Artist Associaton.

“Courage”
This was my recent piece that I used in the annual post card swap, hosted by Kat Sloma, called “LiberateYour Art”. Participants send five postcards to enter the swap. Kat and helpers send your cards to five other participants which means I received five plus one from Kat , cards in the mail!!
Here is a short video hightlighting a sampling of cards from the swap that went not only across the US but internationally as well….(you will see my lion in here as well:)…
Here are the post cards I recieved in my mail box!

Thanks to all and especially to Kat Sloma – looking forward to next year!!

Adding another owl piece, I can’t stop seeing these faces – they keep peaking out at me!
I had fun creating this background with collage, acrylics and stencils and then poof they appeared. They are a fun pair with their “Fancy Feathers” – enjoy!

I discovered this wise eyed friend hiding among the red poppies…this quiet bird was a recreation of a piece I had done with a woman looking out from the flowers…never happy with the figure I got brave and covered her up and let the intuative process take over. Some thing else was really there! Letting it happen….who knew!
