I can understand why critics might have hated this movie in the '80s but thirty years later, it captures a period of time... a ridiculous period of time... so well. I actually liked its examination of journalism and seeing Jann Wenner give himself a main role in the movie where we see him making ice cream... and doing aerobics? Oh, yeah, and how can you hate a movie where they're doing aerobics to Lou Reed and the William Tell Overture?

Yawn.

This is a surprising one... definitely one I'll be thinking about for a while.
