Pride and Prejudice and Zombies 2016
This isn't a great film. I didn't expect it to be. But it is a lot of fun to watch, as long as you keep the popcorn handy and your expectations low.
If you enjoy oscillating between high-brow and low-brow, you'll have a fine time. -
The Martian 2015
Not at all what I expected. I didn't read the book or see the trailer, so I went in knowing only what the poster suggested: Matt Damon on Mars. The movie was deep, interesting, compelling, and surprisingly funny. I loved it.
