I wish, this entire "Fake News" fiasco is a misguided effort that can only end in censorship and control.

Shitty "news" outlets have existed since always, it's been and always will be the public's duty to detect and ignore such places. No one else should do that for them.

But welp, it's been kinda fun to watch it backfire on the mainstream media. With some luck they'll finally remember what the hell is this "journalism" thing they are supposed to do.
