Quacks R Us.

I think we all know where this  one is heading .
 My True love sent me 4 more ducks today.  So far we have 2 on the pond, 1 in the water barrel and 3 in the stream. Donna has kindly said she would take 3 (they are on their way Donna as we speak) so that just leaves 1. It will have to go in the watering can!
 Whoever my True love is Do not send any more ducks.

 Stamp is by Penny Black 'Caroling duck'. Coloured with my Graph'it markers and silver glitter glue. The background design paper is from Dover Craft 'Kelly Harwood' Pink candy stripe paper is a freebie from Simply Homemade from the NitWit Collections 'Thimbles 'n Threads'. The wooden Merry Christmas bauble is from Scrapmatts and the pink bow ,silver star and silver washi tape from my stash.

 Can I just point out here and now that you are not My True Love  cos what am I supposed to do with six ducks. I only have a small pond on  which two  are already  swimming merrily around and one in the water barrel. Ok, these three will have to go in the stream. I'm also getting fed up with listening to 'We Three Kings'.

 Duck stamp by Penny Black called  'Caroling Duck'  and coloured this time with my Graph'it markers and silver stickles. The paper is another roll of wrapping paper from the local supermarket. Well it was buy 3 for 2 so how could I resist.  Snowflakes are a Memory Box die cut.

As for that wretched elf, the honeymoon period is over. His tag went off yesterday morning (whilst I was busy with the darn ducks).. I found him in the kitchen trying to smother his leg in lard.

Put the lard back in the fridge L'th. That's for the mixing with porridge  for the birds and that knife is very sharp!!!!.

The Fairies are back.

The new challenge over on the Butterfly Challenge has begun and as usual will run for the rest of December.
The Fairies, Gnomes, Pixies and Elves are back.  The challenge will end on 31st December. Your cards can be either christmas themed or non christmas. The choice is yours. The Decoupage sheet is by Dufex Prints. I have made up into an easel card using a pre-formed easel base which I cut down slightly.  The sentiment was created in word and then printed out.

Second card using Elves.
The digi image is from A Day For Daisies called 'Elves at work. I have coloured using my promarkers, a silver gel pen and pearlescent chalk. The sentiment is from a red plastic sticker sheet that I bought at the NEC this year. Papers were oddments still out on my desk. Bow came from my stash.

Quack, Quack!.

So far so good. L'th seems to have accepted that he has a tag on him and has stayed put on my desk.

 Being able to keep him in my sights meant I could get another card made.  Same stamp as yesterday (Penny Black Caroling Duck) only now there are two of em!  Coloured with my promarkers and silver sickles.  Green bow and button from my stash. The satin sheen tartan paper is from a roll of christmas wrapping paper which I bought at the local supermarket. You will be seeing lots of this on cards as it's a very long roll.

Erm. I hope my True Love knows I only have a small pond.

I took that wretched Elf down to the Locksmiths and he has now been fitted with an Electronic Tag. If he so much as makes one wrong move I will know about it!

I was having severe withdrawal symptoms after Beccy's  month of holiday cards ended so I sat and made another card today.
Stamp is one of my Favourite Penny Black stamps which I have coloured up with my promarkers and silver stickles.  The paper is from an LOTV pad called Krafty Christmas given to me by my daughter.The bow was in my stash.

I can live with one duck. The frogs won't mind sharing the pond with him.

He may as well make himself useful!

Wish Upon A Star.

It is  the last day of Beccy Muirs A Month of Holiday Cards Challenge and here is my card for today.

Day 30 is to Do what You Love.  and use the stamps, colours, paper embellishments that you love to create one final card.
The cards that I most love to make are Joy fold cards so here is my card.  The images are pre coloured digis by 'Sassy Cheryl' from Paper Creator. The single snowman is called Once Upon A Star and the trio of snowmen 'Hanging Stars'. I have used a gold coloured wooden star attached with a  3D pad on the front to secure the flap shut.  The design paper is a freebie from Making Cards Magazine christmas Edition 2018. (I do like to use freebies where possible as it leaves me more pennies for the dearer must have items and when I do whether it be papers or digi images, list where they have come from and give credit to the suppliers/artists).

 This is the card opened up. I do also love to add the extra gift tag inside.

The Post.

So let me recap to this morning when I was having a nice relaxing soak in the bath and there was a pounding on the front door. The Doc was downstairs so said he would see who it was. "It's ok" he said  "just some post."
The postman is not generally that noisy but then The Doc said "It wasn't the post man . It's a hand delivery".
Now the neighbours aren't generally that quick off the mark with their cards so I was curious to see who it was from.
Downstairs this is what greeted me.

Just as I was on the point of throwing the front door open and throwing said Elf out The Doc intervened saying "Don't you think you ought to read the letter first?"

Thanks. Thankyou very much Santa.  That's your name struck off my christmas card list!!!

The Doc is now on his 3rd bourbon and I'm knocking back tranquilizers like sweeties.
