First time to visit Franklin's since I've moved to Austin in 2012 - My husband and I arrived with our group of friends and co-workers at 7:30AM and was eating lunch at 12:30PM. We brought coolers with adult drinks, lawn chairs, board games, and corn hole to keep ourselves entertained during the wait. Restrooms were available inside the restaurant starting at 8AM. We met an awesome group of gentlemen from out of town in line ahead of us who were visiting Austin for a bachelor weekend. Franklin staff took pre-orders during our wait and informed us when to start packing our belongings to get in the standing line. They also tell you what time they will expect you to be seated with your food. Right before we ordered, we met Aaron Franklin in person and took a group photo with him (he is so friendly!). Since it was out first time, we ordered a little bit of everything. The brisket was on point, but I have to say that the pork ribs are the best I've ever had. They just melt off the bone. After we ate, some staff (and Aaron himself) gave us a tour of the smoker room, which was really cool to see. Absolutely, 100% recommend this place to meat/BBQ lovers and those who don't mind hanging out with friends all morning :) Thank you for this great experience!

I'm not sure where are these bad reviews are coming from! After living in Austin for a long time, a friend and I decided to give it a whirl. Saw a few things on the menu I've never seen on a Tex-Mex menu including the stuffed zucchini, which I ordered. The verde sauce was tangy, the red sauce had a bit of nip to it, and the black beans were just fine (not a big fan, but these were better than most). Oh, the margaritas...mmmmmmmmm!!! We just had the house version (and he floated some Patron on the second) but they were fantastic!! I'm now ashamed to admit how long I've lived here without eating here...I'll definitely be back soon!! The only bad thing is parking...not really sure where we're supposed to park, and it was a bitch to get out of the lot...but not bad enough to lower the rating. Again...mmmmmmmmm, margaritas!!!

I ordered the Frank O'American for breakfast and I seriously underestimated the meaning of Big-ass pancake!!! Ha! I loved it! It was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed and invigorating, perfect for any dinning occasion. Our waiter Jose R was amazing as well, knew how to make you feel comfortable and satisfied. I was only visiting Austin for the day but I'm very happy I stopped her for a bite. I've already been telling all my friends about it! Definitely a place to eat at if ever in Austin! :D

Empire Control Room; literally translated to "the essence of Austin." With 3 different venues in one, every friendly face you've ever met or dream to meet gathers here any given night. This place lifts up the local musicians, embraces the underground scene, & completely understands how to utilize their lighting, visuals, & sound system to get the absolute best out of the space. My favorite venue for bringing out of town friends. 10 out of 5 stars.

Great place to be for relaxed fun during the week. BT2 can get quite crowded on the weekends and it can be extremely fun with lots of high energy staff and bartenders =D I would like to say thank you to our bartender Eric from this past Thursday you helped make it a great night for my boyfriend and me.

My family and I love this hotel. Not only are the rooms comfortable and beautiful with gorgeous Hill country views, the staff is amazing! With elite status, you can enjoy a free, hot breakfast and appetizers in the evening. Within walking distance from several shops and restaurants which means you can enjoy cocktails with dinner with just a short,safe walk back to the hotel. The heated pools and hot tub as well as the fitness center, is always clean and well equipped. I'm a little disappointed that they recently started charging for self parking $10.00 per day. Otherwise, very happy with this hotel and will continue to stay as long as rates and parking continues to stay reasonable.

I stayed here for a conference this last week. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I needed a toothbrush and toothpaste and they had it for me within ten minutes of my request. When we arrived we were asked what floor and what view we wanted, and then he kindly gave us a room in the corner so we would have less noise. The bar area was comfortable and the staff accommodating. At one point I had a problem with my shoes and had to use Prime Now to get another pair delivered. It was late at night and they called to offer to hold the item until I needed it. The next morning they rushed to find it for me so I wouldn't be barefoot! We joked and talked for a bit as well. I was impressed and would stay there again.

I was there yesterday for the Texas Employee lobby day rally. The event began outside the capital grounds which I must say are beautifully maintained. Later that day we move into the capital itself to meet with the legislators. The capital building is beautiful though at times confusing due to the numerous corridors and hallways. I especially liked the view from the top as you peer down to the ground floor to see the Texas emblem. Overall it was a successful trip and one which I will surely repeat.

The single greatest platform for up and coming stars who want to be heard, need to be heard and who definitely have a lot to say from politically enlightened to community mindfulness, to romance, to just plain old let your hair down entertainment. I highly recommend it, and I up that to critical if you are wanting to be in the entertainment business. I saw homegrown acts from the three coastlines of the USA and everywhere in between and they brought it! I'll definitely be coming back next year!

The Zilker Botanical Garden is a treasure in the heart of Austin. There are so many devoted people who carefully tend to it and work hard there with Zilker Botanical Conservancy Board, Austin Area Garden Clubs and all of the garden clubs that are included in the organization, and the City of Austin employees. So many people give their blood, sweat, and tears to keep it beautiful and make it better. It takes so many to keep is precious and increase and improve its beauty and access.

My wife and I attended a company Christmas party held by the University of Texas golf club. Beautiful presentation and excellent food for Christmas party! We had a wonderful time!

The kids enjoyed it. Very interactive and fun for all. The only problem we encountered was checking was long, cashier was unsure what to do with the free pass we had and I didn't feel parents should pay full admission price. I forgot to pay for parking so we went back to pay and when we came back in we were stopped and asked to show our ticket like we were trying to just walk in for free and I was like I was just for 30 minutes at check in. But kids had a great time. The area is looking amazing great park area as well.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at The Blanton Museum of Art. We went to view Nina Katchadourian's "Curiouser" exhibit. We found it to be brilliant, highlighting a creative spirit that is unsurpassed. I so glad we allowed ample time to explore her works and view other artists as well. It was a day well spent! What I like about the Blanton is each gallery section has, at the displayed work, a well text that explains why the works in that room were brought together. Individual works of art have labels that tell about their art historical/social context. I learned about each artist, their methods and materials. I found the day went by so fast! It was a truly engaging experience.

I wish I had written down the names of the cashier and managers who helped me because they were very patient and helpful with the customers in line and with my purchase at the Customer Service counter near the women's Nike and Under Armour apparel. My coupons were not working for some reason and then we realized they weren't yet valid (I visited the store too early, the fine print said the coupons were good for two days from now)... But they found another coupon to offer me without even hesitating. What great service! I purchased a "Troll's" pajama set for my little cousin as a secret santa gift. With the 40% off sale, the extra 20% off coupon they gave me and the left overs from a gift card my mom gave me, I only ended up paying $5 out of pocket. I was taken aback by the great service and thankful for their help.

I have had really good and honest service since I started ordering from BNB. I also like the informational videos they post and emails from time to time about the products they are showcasing and discounts. The owners and staff have been really helpful and respond quickly when I have had questions. They also have the integrity of standing behind their products and making sure you get the best quality. I appreciate this business and look forward to purchasing from them in the future.

It is weird that Emo's makes you poor the can beers into cups because they spill everywhere when you try to walk back into the crowd also mine dropped out of my hands and was just gone. . . Also, you can only buy 2 at a time which was weird because there were 3 people in my group. Idk thats my only complaint.

We've been going 5 years, and it's spectacular. Spring break for adults! So much to see and pack into a week! Pure fun with so many musical people. Each year I'm able to see ~80 bands, most of which will never come through my state.
