Parking was great. Staff was great. Sound was great. Proximity to restaurants was great. The ability for in and outs (to put merch in your car) was great. The f...ree water for us DDs and people that need to stay hydrated was great. The smoking section away from the front door was great.

Only criticism would be the restrooms, but the line went by so quick, it was pretty much a non-issue.

Bastardization of a true and legendary name.This. Place. Is. Not. Emo's. Emo's is dirty and smells like piss. Emo's is the place for commoners with a penchant f...or alternatives and hardcore. Fun venue for the price and the entertainment (Psychedelic Furs). The standing only isn't for everyone but we got there early and got a bench seat in the back.... Security was good and people friendly. The two bars set up and outdoor patio were nice too. Not enough bathrooms but we will definitely go there again!! הצג עוד

It is weird that Emo's makes you poor the can beers into cups because they spill everywhere when you try to walk back into the crowd also mine dropped out of my... hands and was just gone. . . Also, you can only buy 2 at a time which was weird because there were 3 people in my group. Idk thats my only complaint. הצג עוד

This place is great! The staff was friendly, they had a lot of people on staff so the lines moved quick! The bathrooms were clean! I will for sure come back

The place is pretty much standing only, which was fine with me I didn't plan on sitting at the concert anyways. Temperature inside was perfect. Nothing super special, but I'd return for another concert for sure.

Love this place. Our bartender was awesome. Sorry, I didn't get her name. Just that she was from New York. The sound is great. We drove from San Antonio for the sound. We've been here three times. Great shows, awesome sound.

One of Austin's better clubs for live music. Beer is reasonably priced (you hear that, Aztec Theater!) and the sound is great. The reason for no 5 stars is the parking situation can be a little more organized but not a dealbreaker.

We went to see Rick Astley on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017 at Emo's and it was absolutely WONDERFUL! Emo's has ample parking and the area where the band was playing ...is big enough to accomodate a large crowd, comfortably. The show was fabulous and I am hoping Mr. Astley will be asked again to perform there; we will definitely go to see him again! הצג עוד

Badass show Chevelle rock the House last night Silver Snakes and Aeges fucked it up too, mosh pit was formed ofcourse for Chevelle goid sound not to load and not toi weak just right, needs more bench seats against all the walls.

The venue wasnt bad. Bartenders/security were friendly and quick, merchant guy rocked and the sound was pretty decent.

Downside trash was overflowing and the... floors were extremely wet and slick from it. Made dancing problematic and alot of people fell. Smoking area pretty congested.

Also I do not understand why gloves or any led lights/poi are not allowed. This mentality that led gloves or lights promotes drug use is a joke. People who get too drunk or use narcotics in no way shape or form decide to do those things only after they see people with lights. Never has anyone said "gloving is allowed here so now I'm going to do all the drugs"

Gloving does not promote drug use it promotes a form of dance/skills/expressionism that can create intimate and meaningful moments (often) between strangers. It's just another form of personal art/expression that is being stifled by Corp America and venues buying into the hype. Pretty soon I won't be able to wear my spirit hood or trade kandi cause that makes people want to do drugs also right? *eye roll*

I expect better from my Austin fam and venues. Being able to dance with my led whip or gloves makes every show 10 times more enjoyable. Not being able to diminishes it for me and thousands of others like me.

I'm a 37 year old white guy. Married 20 years with 4 kids together. I clear 6 figures a year. And I love to rave and meet people while gloving or dancing the night away. There goes the neighborhood.
