View Instructable »I haven't tried it with honey so I can't say for sure how it would affect the texture. It might be fine, or it might be a little bit stickier. It would be great if you could try it with honey and let me know how it turns out.Thank you for your kind comments.

View Instructable »I tried it first with agave syrup and the bars did not hold together well, so I would not recommend agave. I think honey might work and I would be very interested in hearing how this works out if you try it with honey, and what the texture is like. Thanks!

There is no cooking involved at any point. All ingredients are raw and they are pureed in a food processor, then rolled into balls. So the breakfast bites are raw as well as vegan and sugar-free!
View Instructable »That's correct - I blended the raw oats in, right after I blended the dates in. There should be enough liquid from the date/water mixture to make the raw oats (use quick oats) easily digestible, but it's a good idea to have a coffee or other liquid with these Breakfast Bites to get the full benefit from the oats. View Instructable »That sounds good! The nice thing about this recipe is that you can vary it to suit your own taste. I'm lactose intolerant (hence the lactose free milk in the photo) so I generally avoid sour cream, but I can imagine that adding sour cream, and premixing the powder with the milk and butter would give it a creamier texture and nice flavour.

View Instructable »It looks like you folded your paper into quarters, rather than sixths. Once the square is folded into sixths, you need to trim the edge so it ends up like a circle, as described in Step 2. It should look like a wedge or a piece of pie. Then study the photos in Step 3 before you cut anything out. You might want to try to more or less copy the cut out that I did in Step 3 for your first snowflake and once you have succeeded, you can try your own designs. Good luck!
