Certified Refurbished Dedicated Servers

Our refurbished dedicated servers go through a stringent 7-Point inspection by certified Dell technicians. The end product is a less expensive but reliable alternative to our current generation dedicated servers.

CPUs

We stress test the processor for errors. The tests we run check for brand identification, verifies the processor operating frequency and tests specific processor features. Once we complete this test, we also check the operating temperature of the CPU to verify optimal ranges.

Memory

We run a custom created memory testing application that writes ones and zeros to the memory module. Once this complete, we also perform random tests for one hour to ensure no errors are reported.

Power Supply

We test each power supply (PSU) to ensure the output has proper voltage, even while under load. We confirm this on each rail where applicable.

Motherboard

We verify that all the buses are functioning on the motherboard without issues by performing a set of random tasks on the server for a period of time. During this time, one of tests we run is that we under clock the CPU, then return it to the correct speed.

Hard Drives

We run a series of hard drive tests for errors. We also replace the drives that have passed half of the suggested life expectancy of the manufacturer with new hard drives.

Network

We test the network card(s) for network transfer speed and ping times. We then utilize the network card to PXE a basic OS install to confirm that full connectivity is attained.

Hardware Burn-in

Lastly we burn-in the complete server. We run it beyond its limits for a designated amount of time and follow up with a thorough verification of all logs to ensure the server is ready for sale.

Infrastructure Reliability Pledge

If we don't have a server in the original specs chosen, we will upgrade you to higher spec server for free.

We will also upgrade you for free if your server has any critical failure.
