masters mentoring
We provide research mentorship for students pursuing a Master's degree, if they have demonstrated strong background in genomics, evolution, analytics, or biomedicine. Because the duration of Masters’ research project is relatively short, research and teaching assistantships are only available in special cases. Students from Masters’ programs in the Department of Biology and Department of Computer and Information Sciences are currently accepted. We also co-mentor Masters’students from other graduate programs in the university.
Interested students are advised to directly contact the iGEM faculty of interest. Please send your detailed curriculum vitae and a brief statement of research interest in a PDF file to the faculty member. Remember to include information on your experimental and computational experience in your curriculum vitae or resume, as appropriate.
