Jewish learning is a central part of Jewish life at Hunter Hillel!

For the semester of Fall 2024 we are offering the following learning cohorts for students: 
  • Talmud Chaburah - Tuesdays, 11:30-1:00 (10 Weeks) - Register here
  • Jewish Learning Fellowship - Life's Big Questions, Tuesdays 2:30-4:00 (10 weeks) - Register here
  • Torah of Teshuvah - Thursdays, 2:30-3:30 (4 Weeks, first half of semester) - Register here
  • Kol Yisrael - Thursdays, 3:00-4:30 (6 weeks, second half of semester) - Register here
  • Jewish Values and Civic Engagement, Thursdays, 4:30-5:30 (4 weeks, second half of semester) - Register here

We also are offering regular drop-in learning opportunities: 
  • Parshah & Pizza, Mondays 12:00-2:00
  • New Jewish Books - Mondays 2:30-3:30 A series of conversations on big new ideas in the Jewish community today
    • September 9th - Judaism is About Love by Rabbi Shai Held, featuring book talk and signing by author
    • September 16th - End of Days by Mikhael Mannekin, featuring book talk by translator Maya Rosen 
    • November 4th - The Place of All Possibility by Rabbi Adina Allen 
    • November 25th - Loving Our Own Bones by Rabbi Julia Watts Belser, featuring book talk by Rabbi Lauren Tuchman
