Hiccups and Snoozes

I took a long, almost 2 month break from my project, and now I am coming back to it at last.

It’s been a good 2 month- first month was used fighting with academic exams, the results were satisfactory; the second month was all about doing nothing but just thinking and seeing things. Now, I am a bit behind schedule, but all will be fine I hope.

A new maquette I started on early this month. unlike the one before, this is very much unplanned, I hope to be surprised at the end.

The Ball by Félix Vallotton, A delightful little piece spotted in the recent musée d’orsay exhibition at the Singapore National Museum.  simple yet concrete illustration of good composition and color choice. ( the original color is brighter)

Spent quite a lot of time revisiting old disney animation films that have kids as their main characters just to get a direction to how to animate my character. Pinocchio, one of my favorite animated films is a great inspiration. so much can be learned.
