Yule-time stress? A little weird from the thrift store to distract you...
I love this time of year. The family and friends gathering, the present hunting, the cooking and baking.
Of course, all of these are the exact same things that cause the stress too.
I haven't found the answer to completely enjoy the holidays without the accompanying stress causing my shoulders to creep towards my ears, but I do find a wander through the thrift store usually yields some weirdness to make me smile...or say WTF...both work to distract me.
This time of year there are plenty of Santas and Mrs Clauses on the shelves. I though this one looked pretty happy, even with blue eye-balls.
When I saw this Santa all I could think of was he is FAB-U-LOUS in his pink velvet outfit and sparkly beard.
This is a wise-man from a vintage nativity scene. I did find the bent antennas - I think suppose represent a halo? - sticking out of his head somewhat distracting...not to mention painful looking.
