The most immediate and easily indulgent thing I could think of tonight was to have a shower beer. Usually the best beer for that is a light one (so it tastes best cold and is easy to drink quickly), but I had a salted caramel porter and it was just perfect for winter and hit the right spot to supplement the dopamine from hot water and good smelling soap and shampoo.

I'm making perogies for dinner tonight (frozen, store bought but the brand name is totally inspired by someone's baba, and I wish I had the knack for making them or my grandma was still around and giving them as Christmas gifts), and I have some onions sautee-ing, and that's way high up on the list of comforting smells that smell like a home where people cook.

Someone needs to get back on the novelty sunglasses track, because these 1950s Paulette Guinet snake glasses are the ultimate (And they sold on eBay for close to $8000, yikes)

Spent the morning getting tattooed; felt good to have nothing to do other than get flooded with adrenaline and endorphins, and zone out for a while. Can't wait to see how this looks when it's healed.
