Ecards

How much do Ecards cost, and can they be sent to multiple recipients? 
You can send an Ecard for $36 / 144 NIS / 54 CAD / £27.00 GBP / €27.00 EUR / $54.36 AUD to a recipient of your choice, supporting Leket Israel’s work while sending greetings to friends and family.
For special Rosh Hashanah and Purim campaigns, Leket Israel offers the option to send the Ecard to up to 200 recipients per design for the same standard price. Please note that all recipients must be added at the time of the order.
How do I place an Ecard order? 
Depending on the Ecard time you will have different options on how to customize your selected card.

I want my recipients to receive different Ecard designs – can I do that?
You will be charged for each separate Ecard design. You can add different designs to your cart and checkout with multiple designs. Please note all the designs should be in the same language.
The excel used to have columns to be able to customize the personal message and sender name – why is that option not available?
Yes, on our previous website you were able to upload your lists containing 4 columns, which included a personal message and personalized sender name for each recipient. The ability to personalize the cards to that level is still available! After you upload the list of recipients you will be able to see each of your recipients and customize each one further.
I want to use different messages and/or different photos and/or different sender’s names for different recipients – can that be done?
Yes, you will have the option to change individual messages, photos and other information by clicking on the recipient’s name from the recipient list. The list will be viewable on the left-hand side of the screen once your reach that step.
When do the Ecards go out?
You will have the ability to choose a specific date and time for the Ecards to go out (according to you, the sender’s, local time). If you are picking a time for the same day that you are placing your order, it is recommended to pick a time in a few hours, just in case it takes time to finish your order. While editing your order, you have the ability to change the date and time for your individual recipients. If you click “send now”, the Ecards will go out shortly, after the order is finalized and submitted.
Can I upload a PDF, Googledoc, Googlesheet, or Microsoft Word document for the Ecards?
No; please upload an excel or numbers (for Apple) file only. The other formats will not work. If you need help uploading a file, feel free to reach out to one of our offices.
Why won’t my excel upload?

The system requires a specific file with information formatted in a way that will allow the data to transfer smoothly. These are the most common error types:

  1. File type, please make sure the files format is Excel or Numbers.
  2. Formatting error, the top line in the excel should be a header line, column A should include the “Name of recipient” followed by Column B with email address of recipient. You cannot leave anything on your list blank.
  3. A less common error is that an email address will be listed with a typo, such as a space or comma instead of a dot – the website is able to identify the error, please fix the error in the excel, save and reupload.
I don’t have an email address for one recipient. Can I leave it blank, or send it to them via WhatsApp or text?
Unfortunately, you cannot leave this blank, and as per today the Ecards only work with email addresses, not phone numbers.
How can I use my list from last year?
One of the best things about registering to our Ecards site is that when you place future orders, you’ll see the option of reusing a past list upon login!

Printed Cards

I need help ordering printed cards. Who can I contact?

I want to order a different amount of cards/envelopes that is listed
The cards are sold in packs of 18; you can add multiple packs to your order if you would like to order an amount not listed (ie if you would like to order 4 packs or 6 packs.) We can only sell the cards in packs of 18. You can always contact one of our offices if you need assistance, or if you are trying to order a very large quantity of printed cards.
Are there different printed card designs?
There is one type of printed card design available each year.
What is the difference between Ecards and printed cards?
The printed cards come in packs of 18 cards and 18 envelopes, and are mailed to you via postal mail, for you to fill out and send out/give out to your recipients. The ecards are online ecards sent to email addresses (up to 200 recipients per ecard).
Can you fill out, address, and mail out the printed cards to my individual recipients instead of mailing the blank cards to me?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer this option.
Do we need to pay for shipping for the printed cards?
No, shipping costs are not an additional fee. You can definitely add an additional donation to your order to cover the cost of shipping if you would like (much appreciated!)
When will I receive my printed cards order?

In the USA, you should receive your printed cards within 5-6 business days from your order date (pending weather conditions.) Orders will be shipped out from our NJ office within 2-3 business days from the order date, and it will take around 2-3 additional business days to arrive. You must provide us with your complete address (including apt. #), email and phone number, or the order cannot be delivered. In Israel, printed card orders are usually filled the business day after the order is received. They are brought to the post office 2-3 times a week and shipped via express mail. Orders can also be picked from the Raanana office. Contact Helene at [email protected] for other pickup point possibilities.

Do I have to put my apartment number in the address line?
Yes, if you don’t put your unit or apartment number then the cards will be automatically sent back to us, and we will be charged a large fee for incorrect address. This will delay receiving your card order significantly.
Are cards available for pick up in Bergen County, NJ?
Yes, we will have cards available for pick up ONLY at the following locations: in Teaneck, NJ: Cedar Market, Judaica House, Maadan and Glatt Express. For these stores, please make checks out to American Friends of Leket Israel or pay by cash, no credit cards. In Bergenfield, NJ: Grand and Essex where you pay Grand and Essex directly for the cards. There are no other pickup points in the USA.
