Hollande: Vote Macron to avoid 'risk' for France

French president Francois Hollande said on Monday that he will vote for Emmanuel Macron in the run-off of the presidential election on 7 May. He called on voters to avoid a "risk" to France if far-right candidate Marine Le Pen were elected. "There is a threat of isolation for France and of a break-up with the EU," he said, also pointing to economic damage if the country left the euro.

Russian intelligence is suspected of trying to hack the campaign of Emmanuel Macron, the pro-EU candidate in the French election.
