China files WTO complaint against EU and US

China has filed a complaint with the World Trade Organisation (WTO) against the EU and the US, Reuters reported on Monday. The dispute is over whether China should be seen as a market economy, and hence whether Chinese prices should be used when calculating anti-dumping tariffs. A WTO clause that said China was a "non-market economy" expired on Sunday. The EU recently took measures aimed at alleged Chinese dumping.
