Butterfly
My second finish for the Crazy January Challenge 2011 is the Butterfly by Country Cottage Needlework. I had already finished the other 3 parts so it was about time I completed the series.

Day 15 – Butterfly
Today I started my 15th and final project for Crazy January Challenge 2011! This has been so much fun and I would definitely do this again.
The one I started today is a part of the Garden Party series from Country Cottage Needleworks. I have already finished the other 3, ladybug, bumble bee and dragonfly. I thought it was about time to do the butterfly and complete the set.

Although I have 15 new WIP´s now which I´m eager to start working on, I have 2 older WIP´s I´m determent to finish first, QS Red Poppy and Petite House. I have so little left on both that I just can´t let them be!
Bumble bee and a new HAED start
I just can´t put my needle down these days and so I have another finish. It´s the Bumble bee in the Garden Party series from CCN which I actually started in April. I wanted to do something that I could finish soon and so I decided it was time to finish this one.

Now I have finished 3 out of 4 and I have only the Butterfly left. I think I will start it soon but it might take a while to finish it.
I have a new HAED start! I´m taking part in July-Dec Freebie SAL on HAED Bulletin board. It started July 1st and we had 5 pieces to choose from. I chose SK Sunny just because I love all the vibrant colours in her. Here is how she will look like when she´s finished.

And her is my start after 2 hours of stitching. I better keep on going!

Finally here is a July birthday ATC I stitched for Line who lives in Abu Dhabi. I hope she will like it🙂

Dragonfly
I have been very lazy latelly when it comes to stitching. I decided to pull myself together this weekend and work on the dragonfly I started like a month ago. It´s the second in the Garden Party Series. Last night I was determined not to stop until I was finished since there was so little left. And I dit it!

Ladybug
I just got the Garden Party series last week and couldn´t resist to start on the ladybug. Needless to say I couldn´t put it down and here is the finished result.

As you can see on the top right corner I have already started another part which is the dragonfly.
Happy dance and more
I finished my Needlework Shop last night. I decided to finish it before starting on something else since I had so little left. I´m really happy with how it turned out.

I have been working on The Peacock Stitching Chair by The Cat Whiskers. The plan was to finish it last week and put it together last weekend at Linda´s house. She was holding a finishing camp at her house where the ladies in our stitching group Allt í Kross could come over and get some help making something out of stitched things. Unfortunatelly I wasn´t able to finish all the parts and the chair is still not ready. I´m not ready to put it away though and will try to work on it this weekend. Here are the parts I´ve already done.

The last picture is of my progress of Romeo and Juliet by HAED. I haven´t been stitching it a lot lately but over 6000 stitches are already done.

Weekend away
This weekend I left the city with few other stitching mad ladies from my stitching club. We went to a cabin in Húsafell where we had a lot of fun, ate good food, laughed a lot and did a lot of stitching.
I had already started Romeo and Juliet by HAED and this is where I was at the beginning of the weekend.

And this is where I was at the end of the weekend.

I also did some stitching on The Needlwork Shop by CCN. Here you can see me working on it.
