It has been a while since I didn`t write "excellent" to all the quality criteria for a hotel, but Epoque was a wonderful surprise in Bucharest: a quite island near downtown, with great 5-star services and atmosphere. The design that gives you hints to the Brancovenesc architecture is charming, too. I just wish this hotel to stay unchanged over the years. We`ll go back there each time we stop in Bucharest as long as the quality stays at these international 5-star hight. Congrats!

Absolutely recommended! It is 10 min walking to the city center, it is 2 min to a beautiful park; it is in a quiet place; it is very, very clean, the staff is polite. They have free WiFi/Internet and car parking included.

I was in Bucharest for a short business trip. Nice facilities, quiet boutique hotel, very nice rooms well designed and equipped, the service was excellent and the team was very helpful with all requests, the food very good. A great hotel for someone who does not like big hotels. I will stay there again in my future visits.

The gym is minimal and under equipped. The spa though is very nice. There is no business centre.

The hotel is absolutely fabulous. The room is very big, very clean and nicely furbished (it is actually an apartment). The location is close to the city centre, but in the same time very quiet. They have a very nice Michelin starred restaurant (a big surprise to be honest, I didn’t expect that). They also have a proper car park. I totally recommend it and I’ll definitely come back.

I think they need to improve their breakfast; it is not much there to choose from. The waiters should be trained a little bit better. They’ve been very polite, but at least the one who served us the first night couldn’t explain the menu very well. The waiter kept asking us how the food is and we answered “very good” and his answer was “Oh yes I know that…” instead of “thank you”. Anyway this is not a critic is more like an advice what should be improved to get to a very high standard.

It's been a positive surprise to find this hotel at the Bucarest's center. Really good spa, and fantastic facilities.

The most charming place i've ever stayed in Bucharest, excellent facilities, very generous bathrooms and spacious room, staff was very helpfull at all times. The location is very cosy, unbelievely quiet and relaxed for such a central location. I especially appreciated the gourmet restaurant and the spa. Definitely a place i will return to.

Rooms are new, modern, spacious and clean. Good service. Great location.

Air conditioning not working properly and not only in our room. Although the rooms are very nice, you tend to remember the lack of a/c and the sweaty uncomfortable nigths.Check in/out a little bit lengthier than it should be at a 5* hotel.

My fiancé and I choose this hotel after an exhausting week for the spa facilities and we were not disappointed. From the moment we entered till the second we left, all needs were taken care; our bodies pampered and feed exquisite food. To put it plainly I have stayed in some of the best hotels around the world from Los Angelos to Paris and never thought you could find one in Bucharest similiar...until now.

The surrounding area has nothing to look at from the balcony and so I would only recommend the Suite or below.

The hotel looked very nice, stylish and elegant. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable.

The breakfast buffet can be better.

Everything was what one would expect from a world class hotel

The size of the room - is very spacious. The location is very quiet, yet near the center. The staff is very friendly with personal attitude.

We reserved a non-smoking room, but ot checkin received a room on the 4th floor which is a smoking floor. Only after complaining we were transferred to the 6th floor. We asked for a late checkout until 8:30 pm, we were charged 50% after the hotel claimed the extra charge is specially for us, although 50% is the usual charge for late checkout in most hotels.altough we paid for the late checkout the room was not cleaned during the entire day.

The staff were very nice and helpful

The infrastructure of the hotel was not sufficient. There was not any water for part of the stay which meant no showers, etc. the staff were put into an awkward position on this matter since they could not answer when it would be restored and they did not seem to get much support from their superiors to try and remedy this problem

Staff was very helpful and knowledgable as well as friendly. Decor was very elegant and relaxed. Location is quiet and convenient.
