Udumbanchola is a taluk in Idukki district of Kerala state in India. This is in the high-ranges. Nedumkandam is the major town and capital of Udumbanchola taluk. This taluk borders Tamil Nadu state.This is the biggest taluk in Kerala state[citation needed] and is the location of Mathikettan Shola National Park.
Politics[edit]
Udumbanchola assembly constituency is part of Idukki (Lok Sabha constituency).[1] K.Chappathu, Upputhara, Anakkara and Mattumkatta are the townships in Udumbumchola Taluk.
