Meteorologist, The Weather Company

Danielle Banks joined The Weather Company in 2006, in the radio department, before jumping back in front of the camera as a Meteorologist. Since 2015, she has been working for the Edward R. Murrow-award-winning team behind the TheWeather Channel App and weather.com, which are part of The Weather Company, an IBM business,she is one of the friendly faces people see when watching forecast videos. In addition to her professional skills as a full-time digital On-Camera Meteorologist, Danielle enjoys being a part of Watson Advertising & Weather’s Culture Club, which plans fun activities foremployees. It’s been a bit more challenging tryingto come up with virtual events that everyone can do from home, but it is well worth the effort! When not working, she enjoys spending time in the kitchen with her husband, playing board games and reading stories with her two precious girls.

Chelsea Clinton

Vice Chair, Clinton Foundation

As Vice Chair of the Clinton Foundation, Chelsea Clinton works alongside the Foundation’s leadership and partners to help create economic opportunity, improve public health, and inspire civic engagement andservice across the United States and around the world.In particular, Chelsea focuses on promoting early brain and language development through the Too Small to Fail initiative, and uplifting/empowering female entrepreneurs and women-led businesses around the world through initiatives like the Caribbean-focused Women in Renewable Energy (WIRE) Network. She also serves on the boards of the Clinton Health Access Initiative and the Alliance for a Healthier Generation.

In addition to her Foundation work, Chelsea also teaches at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and has written several books for young readers, including the #1 New York Times bestselling She Persisted: 13 American Women Who Changed the World as well as She Persisted Around the World,She Persisted in Sports,Start Now! You Can Make a Difference;Don’t Let Them Disappear; and It’s Your World: Get Informed, Get Inspired & Get Going.She is also the co-author of The Book of Gutsy Women and Grandma’s Gardens with her mom Hillary Clinton and of Governing Global Health: Who Runs the World and Why? with Devi Sridhar.

Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford, a Master of Public Health from Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health, and both a Master of Philosophy and a Doctorate in international relations from Oxford University. She lives with her husband Marc, their children Charlotte, Aidan and Jasper, and dog Soren in New York City.

Arvind Krishna

CEO, IBM Corporation

Arvind Krishna is Chief Executive Officer of IBM. As a business leader and technologist, he has led the building and expansion of new markets for IBM in artificial intelligence, cloud, quantum computing, and blockchain. He has also played a significant role in the development of innovative IBM products and solutions based on these emerging technologies.

Over his 30-year career at IBM, Arvind led a series of bold transformations and delivered proven business results. He most recently drove the successful $34 billion acquisition of Red Hat – the largest software acquisition – that has defined the hybrid cloud market. Together, IBM and Red Hat give clients the unique ability to build mission-critical applications once and run them anywhere.

Arvind previously was Senior Vice President of Cloud and Cognitive Software, where he pioneered the company’s hybrid cloud business, transformed IBM’s entire software and services portfolio and offerings for cloud, and grew the business. He also headed IBM Research, where he drove innovation in core and emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, quantum computing, blockchain, cloud platform services, data-driven solutions, and nanotechnology. In 2016, Wired magazine selected Arvind as “one of 25 geniuses who are creating the future of business” for his foundational work on blockchain.

As general manager of IBM Systems and Technology Group’s development and manufacturing organization, Arvind led the strategy for data-centric systems and the widespread industry adoption of open and collaborative technology standards. He also grew the IBM Information Management business by 50 percent.

At IBM, Arvind has been an outspoken advocate for learning at every stage of one’s career. He has made scientific contributions in a number of technical fields, including wireless networking, security, systems, and databases. In addition, he founded IBM’s security software business and helped create the world’s first commercial wireless system.

Arvind has an undergraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK) and a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is the recipient of distinguished alumni awards from both institutions.

Laurent Sauveur

Chief of External Relations, UN Human Rights

Laurent Sauveur is Chief of External Relations for the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, aka the UN Human Rights Office, overseeing the external communications and partnerships programmes of the organisation. He took up his post in 2016.

Mr Sauveur brings to the position considerable experience in mobilising support to assist vulnerable people. Before joining the United Nations, he worked for the private sector as well as international NGOs like Doctors without Borders and Care International for over two decades, focusing particularly on humanitarian operations and the fight against extreme poverty.

Mr. Sauveur, a French national, holds degrees in business and marketing from the EDHEC and Aston Business Schools in Lille, France and Birmingham, UK.
