Bought myself a badge the other day. It has the Superman logo. And it reads ‘SorryMan. I’m late’.
In around 715 B.C. Tharani had tagged me for a post. Here it is!
Bakers Dozen Books Bucket List Challenge.
The rules:
- List your 12 favorite books
- 7 wonders about yourself and your reading
- Tag other 8 bloggers
12 Favourite Books, in no particular order:
1) Something Under The Bed Is Drooling – Bill Watterson
2) The World According To Lucy – Charles Schultz
3) The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy – J R R Tolkien
4) Three Men In A Boat – Jerome K Jerome
5) The Importance Of Being Earnest – Oscar Wilde
6) Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates – Tom Robbins
7) Kafka On The Shore – Haruki Murakami
8) Little Bird – Germano Zullo & Albertine
9) By The Pricking Of My Thumbs – Agatha Christie
10) Where The Sidewalk Ends – Shel Silverstein
11) Adventures of Feluda – Satyajit Ray
12) The Children at Green Meadow – Enid Blyton
7 wonders:
1) Incapable of lending books. Raved about a book for 5 minutes straight.
When asked if I could lend my copy, I laughed and walked away.
And avoided all eye-contact ever since.
2) Cannot leave a book unfinished. Even if I hate it (God of Small Things),
or it makes me sleepy (Postern of Fate) or if it is not my taste.
I have completed them, and wallowed in self-pity over time lost.
3) The only reason I looked forward to earning was to buy my own books.
That sentiment is unchanged.
4) Love second-hand books.
5) Dislike buying books that have covers from their movie adapts.
6) Anyone who dog-ears a book is simply asking for a punch/pinch.
I practice no restraint.
7) I do not watch the movie before I have read the book.
That was fun! And any blogger with a writer’s block is welcome to do this.
