The League of Women Voters of the City of New York will present its 2018 Distinguished Service Award to the Committee to Protect Journalists, an independent, nonprofit organization that promotes press freedom worldwide. The award will be presented to CPJ Executive Director Joel Simon on Thursday, June 21st at the League's annual awards breakfast at the Roosevelt Hotel, 45 East 45th Street at 8:30am.
