ARTISTS FOR CONSERVATION An International Exhibit of Nature in Art
ARTISTS FOR CONSERVATION: An International Exhibit of Nature in Art, December 16, 2023-March 3, 2024 at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Artists for Conservation (AFC) is a global collective of 500 artists from over 30 countries dedicated to championing wildlife and habitat preservation and fostering environmental education through the medium of art. Attend the opening reception Friday, January 26, 2024 from 4-6 pm. This event is free with museum admission and open to the public.

ARTFUL CONNECTIONS An Exhibit of Staff Creativity at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum
Artful Connections, at the Baldwin Gallery, is an art show that celebrates and appreciates the artistic abilities of the staff members across the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. This exhibition reflects works that have inspired individuals to think outside the box, explore new perspectives, and develop innovative problem-solving skills outside their everyday jobs. January 20-March 17, 2024. Opening Reception is Friday, January 19, 3-5 pm. This event is free with museum admission and open to the public.

LA FIESTA DE LOS VAQUEROS Tucson Rodeo
Established in 1925, La Fiesta de los Vaqueros is a 9 day event centered around the cowboy tradition of rodeo. Celebrating 99 years this year, February 17-25, 2024. Each rodeo day gates open at 11 a.m. The Junior Rodeo begins at 12:30 p.m. The ProRodeo begins at 2 p.m. and ends around 4 p.m. The Coors Barn dance begins when the rodeo ends.

Jazz In The Desert 2024
The Valle Verde Rotary Club is excited to announce that “Jazz In The Desert 2024” is set for Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the Diamond Center of the Desert Diamond Casino-Sahuarita. Middle and High School jazz bands from up and down the I-19 corridor will take the stage for a matinee at 11 AM and dinner show at 5 PM.
