Our approach

Treating cancer is a team effort. Our interdisciplinary treatment teams are made up of board-certified, fellowship-trained and subspecialized cancer specialists—many of whom are nationally recognized. These experts include medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, pathologists and radiologists, along with oncology nurses, social workers, nutritionists and genetic counselors, all working together to develop an individualized treatment plan for the best possible outcome.

Our specialists are based in your community and connected with local cardiologists, endocrinologists, and other top physicians so you receive coordinated care for your cancer even outside of our network. As part of Northwell Health’s network of hospitals, imaging centers and laboratories, your care team has your medical history and a wealth of other information at their fingertips.

Where technology & expertise meet

Specializing in a full range of state-of-the-art therapies and minimally invasive surgical techniques, including robotic surgery, our highly trained radiation oncologists and surgeons have every imaginable technological option to choose from. Yet technology is only as effective as the expertise of the clinicians who employ it. At Northwell, some of the brightest minds in the field bring their years of experience, training, and knowledge to bear on your treatment so you have the best chance at a successful outcome.
