BME HACK 2023

The Biomedical Engineering faculty in the Technion, presents BME HACK 2023, a hackathon in the Biomedical engineering field.

The hackathon will include up to 50 participants from the Technion, Israel, and Technion international guest students.

The purpose of BME-Hack is to expose students to the experience and challenges of establishing a biomedical start-up company. As part of the hackathon, students from diverse academic backgrounds and nationalities will find solutions for medical challenges while implementing engineering approaches.

The program will include teams formation based on health-related challenges, lectures, teamwork on the selected challenges with the guidance of mentors from relevant fields (e.g. bio-medical industry, bio-medical investment, entrepreneurial, and medical fields), and a competition presenting the teams’ solutions and business potential in a form of a short presentation.

The Technion BME Faculty will organize the event and the competition by the BME-Hack Committee that will be established for this event.
