The next USBI Conference has been scheduled for August 20 – 23, 2018 and will be hosted at the Chase Center in Wilmington, DE. Further details will be forthcoming soon.

The Redwood Forest Foundation, Inc. (RFFI) in northern California has begun to deliver wood-derived “North Coast Biochar” after a successful start-up of their semi-mobile pyrolysis unit. 

From August 22-25, 2016, over 300 biochar producers, researchers, users, and enthusiasts met at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon for the US Biochar Initiative 2
