The build-up to the Superclásico to end all Superclásicos has been exhausting. But now, it’s finally here. This Saturday, Boca and River clash at the Bombonera in the first leg of a mouthwatering Copa Libertadores final.
Away fans will not be at either clash, AFA confirms. Both matches to kick off at 5pm local time, with the first leg on November 10 and the second leg two weeks later, also on a Saturday.
CONMEBOL posted on Twitter on Thursday the first match at La Bombonera will take place on Saturday, November 10, with the second at El Monumental 14 days later, on November 24.
Buenos Aires hosts teams from Chile, Colombia, Brazil, the United States, Canada, Paraguay, Peru, Bolivia and invitee Morocco for an event running Thursday and runs through Sunday.
The chances of an all-Argentine Superclásico showdown are increasing, as the region's top club competition reaches semi-final stage. In the way? Two Brazilian sides.
