The Figure Formatting service uses your files to generate high-quality figures that conform to your chosen journal’s specifications. This includes changes to file type, resolution, color space, font, scale, line weights, and layout (to improve readability and professional appearance).
To use this service, simply assemble your figures into a single file and upload, stating the name of the journal that you are submitting your manuscript to. Acceptable file formats are listed in the FAQ.

In addition to Figure Formatting for your existing figures, Custom Illustration can assist you by generating original illustrations based on sketches, re-drawing low-resolution diagrams and flowcharts to generate high-quality figures, or creating graphs from data tables. The illustrators work directly with you to help you turn your ideas and data into figures that will help you communicate your research, whether in print, on posters, or in slide presentations.

AJE guarantees that the formatted figures and tables that you receive will meet the stated specifications of the journal that you selected. If the journal has any issues with the preparation of your figures or tables, those issues will be resolved for free. In addition, if you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the appearance of your formatted figures, the formatting team will work with you until you are happy with the presentation of your data.
Our Custom Illustration Service provides you with original illustrations, graphs, and diagrams based on your ideas. This process is inherently iterative, and AJE guarantees to continue to adjust the illustration, graph, or diagram until you are happy with the presentation of your data or ideas.
