Volunteer with ARRCC

ARRCC is a predominantly volunteer-based organisation. We appreciate the time that our members and supporters give to ARRCC and welcome everyone who wishes to help out with our work.

ARRCC is currently looking for volunteers to help with the following responsibilities. If you are interested in the below, or in helping out in anyway, please contact us.

WRITER

* write suitable blogs for website

* write for mainstream media

* write for community media

* research topics for publication on website



ADVOCATE

*meet with Members of Parliament

* meet with religious leaders

* doorknock when a Doorknock is organised

* write to your local MP, State Senator

* attend public protest activities which highlight the need for action





ORGANISER


* animate local community to respond in some way to climate-related issues

* phone supporters to build interest in ARRCC, invite them to particular events or make donations

* organise speakers, venue, publicity, for example, for workshops or fund-raising dinners
