We’re amazed by their accomplishments! And we’re excited to still award them our $1M @xprize Moonshot Award for everything they have achieved. 
Condolences to the Beresheet lander @TeamSpaceIL for what almost was! Communications were lost with the spacecraft just 150 meters (!!!) above the surface, and it couldn't quite stick the landing. Never lose hope - your hard work, teamwork, and innovation is inspiring to all!

Didn't Neil have to take over from the autopilot because they were heading toward a crater or rocky area?

Was it Neil? Or was it Buzz? Buzz was the lunar module pilot when Apollo 11 landed, but they were both active. I heard he was feeling dizzy, or queasy, but landed anyway knowing he could.

As I recall, they switched places after the 1201 computer overload alarm. Aldrin called out readouts and managed the equipment while Armstrong took manual control. It was some incredible teamwork on their part that allowed them to avoid an abort.
