Kira introduces his mother to one of his transgender friends, Veronika, and her mother to learn what life is like after a sex change operation. Stas seeks counselling to battle his fear of going outside on his own.

Stas and Kira attend an exhibition by their photographer to find out whose portrait won. Afterwards, Kira goes to the doctor's to get the green light for his sex change operation. To prepare his mother for what's to come, he introduces her to the family of a friend who's already gone through the change.

Kira plucks up the courage to organise a family reunion. The last time he saw his relatives, his brother beat him up. Stas visits an old people’s home as a part of a charity event. It's a reminder of how he has overlooked his responsibilities to his own grandfather.
