On February 2, 2016, NASBA and the AICPA reissued their Exposure Draft on the proposed revisions to the Statement on Standards for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Programs (Standards) for public comment.  Published jointly by NASBA and the AICPA, the Standards provide a framework for the development, presentation, measurement and reporting of CPE programs.

The Standards Exposure Draft was previously open for comment April 2015 - October 2015.  Fifty-one (51) comment letters were received from a variety of sources.  All submitted comments were reviewed and considered for additional revisions to the Standards.  Due to the significance of the areas of comment, the recommended revisions to the Exposure Draft have been issued for public comment.
