Far Corner recognized at The Arc’s 2018 Convention Awards Luncheon

Each year, The Arc Maryland celebrates leaders in the disability movement. These leaders speak up and take action to create positive changes in schools, workplaces and communities.

These leaders, including Far Corner’s Scott Melville, will be honored on June 8th, at The Arc’s 2018 Convention Awards Luncheon.

Far Corner Receives Public Service Award in the 2018 Arc Carroll County Community Awards

This award is presented to individuals or groups with a high public profile who advance the public’s understanding of people with developmental disabilities or who advocate for change that improves services or the overall quality of life for people with disabilities.

The award will be presented at The Arc Carroll County’s Annual Dinner and Community Awards on Tuesday, May 8, 2017 at Martin’s Westminster.

Give Back Makes a Difference

A donation of $10,000 to Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation was the culmination of a year-long Give Back program to collect and process used books on and off Fort Meade.
