I am a multi-award-winning author of Young Adult and Middle Grade books and PAL member of SCBWI. Primarily I write contemporary fantasy, but I also love some realistic fiction and have even dabbled in romance. Under the name Donna Getzinger, I have authored several critically acclaimed/award-winning nonfiction books. I live near Nashville, TN and am a teacher in an inclusive classroom of typically developing and special needs children in an Early Intervention program. I called on my experience as a Special Education teacher and growing up with an Autistic brother in my new novel No One Needed to Know. When I'm not writing or teaching, I might be found singing and acting in a local community theater musical with members of my talented family. Visit my About Me page to learn a more about my writing career, my presentations, and what I'm currently working on. Also, sign up for my newsletter. |

And, hey, Whisper of the Woods is still only $2.99, so pick up that book as well. This way you can read them both before book 3 of the Juniper Sawfeather Novels, Echo of the Cliffs, comes out next year.

My fairy tale story "The Tomato Quest" was released this year in the anthology Tomato Slices! This is a fun, nostalgic collection of stories, articles, poems, art and recipes all centered around the theme of the juicy, red, sometimes misunderstood fruit. It makes a great gift for people who love gardening and tomatoes. Read an excerpt of my story and find out how to get it half price at: http://www.dgdriver.com/the-tomato-quest.html
