Overview
CFR Campus programs provide a forum for the educational community to interact with CFR experts and join the debate on foreign policy. Activities include the Academic Conference Call Series; live streaming of CFR meetings; workshops for college and university presidents and professors; briefings for students; exhibitions and events at conferences; and sharing the vast array of CFR resources and products for teaching and learning about international relations and the role of the United States in the world.
Academic Conference Calls
The Academic Conference Call series provides the opportunity for students across the country and around the world to participate in an interactive conversation with a CFR fellow, Foreign Affairs author, or other expert. Calls take place every other week during the fall and spring semesters and are dedicated to a wide range of international affairs and U.S. foreign policy topics. Background readings are distributed prior to each call, and the audio recording is posted online afterward.

Student Events
Back-to-School Event
Each year, CFR invites college and university students and professors to the annual Back-to-School Event in New York. The program includes a panel discussion with foreign policy experts on a pressing issue, a presentation of the latest CFR multimedia resource, and a networking session with CFR representatives.
Student Briefings
Each year, CFR welcomes a limited number of college and university student groups to its New York headquarters and Washington, DC, office to learn about the organization and meet with CFR fellows and staff. Briefings may include an overview of CFR and its mission, a foreign policy discussion with a CFR expert, or a short presentation on job and internship opportunities. A minimum of twenty students is required to arrange a visit, and briefings are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, email [email protected].
