Now on newsstands, June 2015 Inc. magazine asked five businesses to share their experiences employing autistic people and the lessons they’ve learned on the journey. The article, 50,000 People With Autism Need Jobs This Year. Here’s Why You Should Hire Them, is entrepreneur-focused: “There is a growing number of adults on the autism spectrum who want to enter the workforce but can’t. Meet the entrepreneurs trying to solve the challenge.” [words] Bookstore is one of the five businesses featured, thanks to our vocational job training program for individuals with autism, and our inclusive hiring policies. We’re proud that Barbara, a program graduate and employee, is prominently featured in the article! Congratulations Barbara!
